Charity begins with an individual - with you! Whether with time, sweat and / or money, every single one of us can make a difference. But you are a Mom and have enough on your plate right now without trying to carve out time for or save up to donate money to a charity. That’s okay. You are molding people that are our future. Instill being charitable in your kids in your everyday ways. Learning the principles of sharing, kindness, and considerate behavior are all steps to becoming a charitable person. Being charitable is one of the best ways to teach our children that the world is made up of all types of people. Sometimes others need help and we must step in to raise them up. Other times, we will need help and others will raise us up.
MomCheck is dedicated to donating 10% of our annual net profits to a variety of charities. The list of charities rotates annually, and can be found on the MomCheck Charities page. Selecting the charities that receive our donations each year is difficult, as we're all passionate about charitable organizations. But since we can't donate to every charity we believe in every year, we also wanted to share some the charities to which the moms at MomCheck personally donate their time and money. There are many, many more charities that have touched our lives and we will share more about those as part of our charity highlights.
