This Friday, I'll be volunteering down at Children's Medical Center - helping some very deserving little boys and girls transform into princesses and superheroes.
It all started when I found out an old classmate of my son's was diagnosed with leukemia. I started following their story on CaringBridge, and there I was introduced to Alexa. I followed Alexa's story and my heart just broke when she passed away. But her story lives on.
I'll be there on Friday, and on any other day anywhere else Crys needs help. Because she's a mom, and so am I. I have no other words. Shine on, Princess Alexa, shine on.
