From the March of Dimes:
In the health care reform discussions, we need your help to speak up for children and pregnant women.
Children - from birth through adolescence - have different health care needs than adults. If an infant is born preterm, or has a birth defect, he/she may require specialized ongoing medical care. Even children who are born healthy, need well-baby care, including newborn screening and immunizations.
And it's essential that women of child-bearing age, especially those who are pregnant, have access to maternity coverage.
It only takes a few minutes to make your voice heard. E-mail your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators today. Tell them health reform must include ways to help our nation's children and moms.
Take action now!
