My children are young, so thinking about paying for college seems so...premature...and yet, I already have 529s for both of them. (I'm a Type-A if you hadn't noticed.) College is expensive - and not just the pizza and beer soda budget. Unless you already know your child is a star athlete (and you can somehow guarantee no injuries) that will receive a full-ride scholarship, college tuition planning is a must.

My good friend Mary Jacoby will be conducting a seminar on behalf of Xceed Financial Credit Union on Tuesday, May 26th from 6:30-7:30pm in Lewisville, College Financing 101. It's free and will teach you about long-term savings ideas and financial aid opportunities. Whether you're facing paying tuition next year or 18 years from now, Mary can teach you how to make it happen.

Here are the details:

I asked Mary if going to Vegas and betting on black was a good plan, and instead of responding, she just quietly RSVP'd me.....so I'll see you there!
